You run up to your friends screaming " I've got an Ipod Nano, I've got an Ipod Nano !" They look at you like your crazy, laugh and all pull out their I Touchs. You then stand there wondering how you missed that Ipod Nanos are 'out'. How you CAN'T keep up with all of this new technology.
The main point is that there is too much technology. One day your new phone is in and the next it's out. Also, they cost SO much. You can't afford to buy one so you save up to get it and then you go to the store and guess what? The new, more expensive one is 'in'. After awhile you just stop and keep the phone. But then people laugh at you because your still not 'in style'.
There is to much technology out there and it's all expensive. In my opinion you shouldn't have to by things to make you cool. You also should be able to buy you phone, Ipod, e.c.t WITHOUT people laughing at you.
Agree with me? Or do you think I'm crazy for saying this all? Comment and tell the world (well, mainly Mr.Carson's class) how you feel about this.

Coven I agree. People brag about "ive got an ipod touch ive got an ipod touch and you DON'T" it ticks me off... people brag to much and it gets you wanting one ... but then if you save up ... "no you can't have it" or you ask and "No they are to expensive!" they should lower the price so you can but it or your parents will instead of hearing bragging and ... wow so many people use them just to be cool... its not just to make you be cool ... and sometimes if you bring it somewhere sombody will steal it then who won't be cool? so people should'nt get them just to be cool or people won't like you anymore, you will act mean and you won't have any friends!

ReplyDeletePeople who brag just arent cool. They try to be cool, by getting all that junk, and then the bragging starts. The 1st day is ok, because the person just got it and they would be very happy. But when it continues, it just gets annoying. I have an Ipod Touch, but not everyone knows that. Unlike braggers (No names included) who tells everyone about what they have and they just don't STOP! So Coven I think your right. Technology is hard to keep up with, especially if you have to pay for it yourself. I think nothing should cost anything. And we could create robot farmers, scientists, ect. The world would be better, with no poor people, and that means no robbers. The world would be way more peacefull!
